Elizabeth Anne Marra

Elizabeth Marra brings a unique perspective to her work as a personal injury attorney at Montlick, shaped by an earlier career in education and her work with people with disabilities. Licensed in Georgia since 2023, she represents clients across a broad range of personal injury matters, working to protect their rights when injury has disrupted their lives.

Before becoming an attorney, Elizabeth began her professional career as an educator working primarily in special education. In that work, she learned to recognize needs that are not always immediately visible and help people navigate complex systems with patience and understanding. That same attentiveness helps her to understand the profound impact an injury can have on her client’s daily life.

Elizabeth prides herself on being highly engaged with her clients and on operating with the highest level of ethics and integrity. She approaches every case with the understanding that no two injuries, and no two people, are the same, taking time to understand how an injury has affected her clients’ lives and what concerns matter most to them. Her laser-focused dedication to each case lets her clients concentrate on their recovery, confident that someone is looking out for their interests.

That engagement is matched by tenacity. A champion of the underdog, Elizabeth advocates forcefully for her clients, especially those whose struggles are easy for others to overlook. For her, standing up when people are at their most vulnerable isn’t simply part of the job; it’s the reason she became a lawyer.

Elizabeth’s connection to Montlick is also personal. She followed in the footsteps of her father, Orlando Marra, whose career at the firm spans more than 30 years. Elizabeth’s own history with Montlick began in 2017, when she joined the firm as a legal assistant while still in college, earning her Bachelor of Arts from Georgia College & State University. She continued working with the firm as a law clerk during breaks throughout law school while earning her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School. After receiving her Georgia Bar results in October 2023, Elizabeth officially joined Montlick as an attorney the next business day.

Her outlook is reflected in words she has long admired from Audrey Hepburn: “It’s that wonderful old-fashioned idea that others come first, and you come second. This was the whole ethic by which I was brought up. Others matter more than you do.” She lives that ethic beyond her practice as well, staying involved with organizations that support individuals with disabilities and their families, including Special Olympics and GiGi’s Playhouse.

Elizabeth resides in Dunwoody, Georgia, and is a devoted Buffalo Bills fan by birthright, a tradition rooted in her family’s background. She finds inspiration in Marv Levy, the winningest coach in Bills history: “When it’s too tough for them, it’s just right for us.” It’s the kind of resolve she brings to challenging cases and to the clients who need someone in their corner.
