Christopher Robert Reeves

Christopher R. Reeves is an environmental attorney with the Atlanta office of the Finley Firm, P.C.  Mr. Reeves’ practice includes environmental and mass tort litigation.  Mr. Reeves has been acknowledged for his work on environmental issues, being named a “Rising Star – Super Lawyer” for Environmental Litigation.  He has also published with several legal journals, newsletters, and offered legal commentary, all related to environmental law. At the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Section, Mr. Reeves gained experience with environmental legal issues including cost recovery actions, permitting violations, and other regulatory matters relating to the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA, Superfund, Endangered Species Act and EPCRA. Mr. Reeves also has experience as a policy analyst providing support to the EPA on brownfields, RCRA, and Clean Air Act proposed regulations.   Mr. Reeves clerked under Chief Administrative Law Judge Ronnie A. Yoder, at the U.S. Department of Transportation, where he handled violations under DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Regulations including the 1996 crash of ValuJet flight 592 and the death of musician Walter Hyatt.   Mr. Reeves received his J.D. degree in 2001 from Vermont Law School, where he also received his Masters of Law, cum laude, in Environmental Law. He was the Editor of the Journal of Environmental Law and a participant of Moot Court. Mr. Reeves graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. degree in Biology in 1998, where he was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society.   Mr. Reeves can be contacted at: Christopher R.
