You can apply for a public defender. There's a $50 application fee, but that can be waived if you're indigent.

There is not a rule requiring this. Some judges will announce what you stole, and others will not. Most judges will not.

You can file a motion to modify your sentence. However, I would strongly recommend not doing this.
