Bradley W. Pratt is a trial lawyer. He has tried cases throughout the Southeast, including in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. He has tried "bellwether" mass tort cases in specialized jurisdictions like the Complex Litigation Center at the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. And he has argued appeals before the state and federal appellate courts, including the Georgia Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Pratt's practice focuses on high exposure trucking accident litigation, catastrophic personal injury cases, product liability/mass torts, pharmaceutical and medical device cases, consumer fraud litigation, whistleblower actions, business disputes, and class actions.
He has built a reputation for vigorous advocacy for his clients in and out of the courtroom, while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism throughout the engagement. Mr. Pratt has the specialized experience to lead any complex and high stakes case to a successful conclusion.
Prior to founding The Pratt Law Firm, he was a Partner at King & Spalding, a 130-year-old AmLaw 50 firm that represents over half of the Fortune Global 100, with 18 offices in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Mr. Pratt began his legal career after being selected as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, joined King & Spalding following that clerkship, and was fortunate to be elected partner at the firm after only six years. As a partner for another six years, Mr. Pratt was entrusted with some of the firm's most challenging matters, including "bet the company" lawsuits that targeted a flagship product or the overall corporate brand, and legal challenges brought on multiple fronts (including from civil lawsuits, state and federal government investigations, consumer advocates, and the media).
Mr. Pratt is a member of All Saints' Episcopal Church, and lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lelia, and their three children, Cole, Abby, and Betty.
