Jennifer Marie Sammons

Jennifer M. Sammons devotes her career to representing injured workers through complex workers’ compensation claims. With 16 years of experience in Georgia workers’ compensation, Jennifer brings a unique perspective to plaintiff representation—one shaped by 12 years representing insurers and employers at three prominent Atlanta defense firms.

That experience defending carriers taught Jennifer how insurance companies evaluate claims and build strategies. Today, she uses that knowledge to aggressively advocate for her clients and maximize their recovery. Jennifer joined Gerber & Elkins to exclusively represent injured workers, bringing her deep understanding of how the system works from the inside.

Professional involvement

Jennifer is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. She is a lifelong Georgia resident, born and raised in Savannah.

Personal

Jennifer’s commitment to helping injured workers navigate the legal and medical systems stems from her background—she was raised in a family of healthcare workers and has a disabled parent. Outside of law, Jennifer volunteers with Lifeline Animal Project and enjoys traveling, cooking, and long walks with her rescue dog.
