no moral compass, constant lies, poor communication

I had a terrible experience with Joseph Wilson (JL Wilson trial law), Shannon Moultrie (COO of trial lawyers of justice & Fayetteville council member post 4) as well as his constituent Jomeco Lecurte Law (JL law group). One word...RUN!! If you can't run, GET OUT!! If you feel stuck 1st CHECK THEIR MA...TH!! Keep a list of all your doctors for yourself and get the balance/bill you owe for yourself. Know your numbers and keep all documents pertaining to such. Be sure your bills have not been inflated & are real!! Trust no attorney to do this for you. Heck they were referred to me via friend so don't assume they will do right by you. 2nd Request a copy of all settlement offers and dialogue between your attorney and the insurance agency in writing. I'm still waiting on mine from state farm and this firm 3rd Request copies of all judgements made in your case if you are going to trial. 4th You should be informed of all hearings pertaining to your case. There were 13 I was not told of. 5th Your release form should be accompanied with an itemized billing statement. Do not sign it immediately. READ and understand every single word before signing it. Don't let an imposed sense of urgency to sign by your attorney be your financial demise. A release statement should have clear escrow parameters and dates. They are supposed to provide all the documents I mentioned. If they won't provide the records, you requested do what I did and file a complaint with the sate bar! Imagine being in an accident that led to cognitive deficits and receiving a text from your attorney Mr. Law saying " we about to find out if she dumb or not" intended for Mr. Wilson. When confronted, they didn't even apologize just gave some lame excuse. They obviously talk bad about their injured clients behind the scenes. I would take off from work for court & they wouldn't inform me of cancelled court dates. They prepped me for trial the day before court after dragging my case for 6yrs. Mr. Wilson posted the opening video of my very traumatic trial to Instagram w/o telling me, asking or closing my case. Find attorneys that truly care about you, your healing, & your outcome and not the money or Instagram fame they are trying to get from one of the most tragic moments in persons life. Unfortunately, this is only the tip of the iceberg. Find attorneys with the highest level of professionalism, that value your time, future, & their own monetary accountability. Most don't ask to see the paper trail of their attorney not asking could cost you. This isn't their first time doing this but it may be the first time they got caught & called out on it. The whole situation was like going to the police for help only for them to victimize you.

Great job Atty. Law

Attorney Law did an excellent job taking care of my case. He was timely and considerate and had our best interest first and foremost. Thank you for a job well done. I would hire this young man again and again to take care of my law needs.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
