About Shelby
Biography
Shelby attended law school to be an advocate for those in need. During law school, she worked with indigent clients in challenging situations and was eventually drawn to family law to help people navigate an often confusing legal system.
Shelby studied Psychology at Georgia State University. She then studied law at Georgia State University College of Law, where she earned her J.D. with highest Pro Bono distinction for providing over 600 hours of pro bono service. She was president of the American Constitution Society and still loves all things policy and politics. During law school, Shelby worked with the Georgia Law Center for The Homeless, AVLF’s Safe and Stable Families Program, GSU Health Law Partnership and interned with Fulton County Superior Court Judge Belinda Edwards.
Shelby lives in Midtown with her husband, Robert, and their two cats.
