Anna Carr Halsey

I have spent my entire legal career representing clients in intellectual property litigation. I have represented clients through every stage of litigation, from performing pre-suit evaluations, initiating suits, and aggressively pursuing discovery, to summary judgment, mediation, and trial on the merits. I have represented clients in utility and design patent infringement, trade dress infringement, and trademark infringement litigations as well as in proceedings before the International Trade Commission.

Prior to working as an IP litigator, I earned a Master’s of Science from the University of Texas for my research in inherited eye diseases. I also worked at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in the pediatric genetics department, where I studied familial cancers.  Although my personal interests focus on the life sciences, I have worked on a wide range of technologies, including video surveillance, cooking devices, hard disk drives, LCDs, networking, paper-making, communications, pasteurization, and vaccination-related technologies.
