Customer for Life..

My wife and I had researched several entertainment lawyers in the Atlanta area before we hired Attorney John Seay to represent my son and his entertainment group. As any parent would do, we wanted to make sure he had the best and was in good hands. There were several entertainment lawyers that seemed... more established and qualified, but either our case wasn't big enough or it was going to be delegated to somebody else and so we continued to look because that attitude wasn't good enough for us. Then we came across Attorney Seay and the one thing that stood out to my wife and I was the fact that he is an artist. He knows the obstacles artist face in the music industry and he is able to break the law down so a non-lawyer like me could fully understand our son’s legal rights and how to protect them. He has a passion that is evident after your first consultation and you know you are fully represented by somebody that is not only fully knowledgeable and qualified but, you know he cares about the artist. We didn't find that in any of the other lawyers we consulted with and researched. His professional expertise and immediate attention he gave to our son’s case would have been enough to warrant a glowing review. But the best review we can give is to say that he will be our lawyer going forward and we will NEVER make any legal decisions in this cutthroat music industry without his approval… NEVER… Mr. and Mrs. T. Craven

Highly Recommended. Excellent, Thorough, and Personable Attorney.

I can't say enough about how excellent it is to work with John Seay. As a musical artist, he has navigated me through complex legal matters while providing sound professional advice in terms that I can understand. He not only knows the ins and outs of entertainment law, he is also very knowledgeabl...e of the music industry in general, and I have found his insight invaluable to my career. He is approachable, friendly, and straight forward. He takes the time to really answer your questions in a thorough and clear manner. He seems to genuinely care about your success as an artist. I HIGHLY recommend working with John.

He is one of the few attorneys who can unpack the intricacies of digital revenue streams in a way that any layperson can understand. A smart, funny and friendly attorney who knows this business inside and out."

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
