Either do that, or ask your lawyer in the Ch. 7 about reopening the Ch. 7 and stripping the lien in that case.

My attorney did not ask for a reaffirmation on my mortgage when I filed Chapter 7 in 2008.

The time has long since passed to reaffirm (unless your Court has an unusual local rule or practice) and it usually is a bad idea anyway.
Is having an attorney in a civil matter a privilege or a right?
