No, you can't. You don't "press charges." That is up to law enforcement and the DA. You also can't "win" as you are not a party to the criminal...

It depends on what you DID sign or agree to. The very reason for the deposit is to protect the landlord when someone backs out - just as you did.

No one here knows anything about your case, why the Judge would not let her speak, or what she had to add to the case. If you lost, you can appeal.
