Donald Edward Reott III

Donald Reott has a long history in Georgia; spending his childhood in the southern part of the state while his father was stationed at Kings Bay Naval Base.  Donald then spent several years in Florida, graduating with honors from Episcopal High School of Jacksonville, and then earing his undergraduate degree cum laude in Physics from the University of Florida.  While rigorously studying the laws of nature, Donald also kept his eye on the humanities and graduated from UF with a minor in Philosophy. 

Donald later returned to Georgia to pursue his professional aspirations in the Atlanta Metro Area.  There, he enrolled in Georgia State University’s College of Law.  As he worked toward his Juris Doctor, Donald focused on developing his litigation skills by partaking in the Student Trail Lawyer Association and attending upper level litigation courses such as Trial Advocacy and Advanced Evidence.   Donald graduated from law school with honors in 2012 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar later that year.

Before joining Stottlemyer & Associates, Donald worked for a small plaintiff’s firm based in Gwinnett County.  There, his work was split between Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, and Social Security matters.  From there, he joined a firm in Sandy Springs, where he was responsible for managing a large caseload of active litigation files, many of which he brought to jury trials.  These experiences were invaluable in expanding his knowledge of the law and further honing Donald’s advocacy skills.

Now at Stottlemyer & Associates, Donald brings his substantial experience to bear helping injury victims in Georgia.  Whether one has suffered injury due to the negligent or intentional conduct of another, or while fulfilling their job duties, Donald navigates the legal issues that these victims face and diligently fights for the highest possible compensation under the law.           

Outside of the practice of law, Donald enjoys hiking, football, and food.  He currently lives in Brookhaven, Georgia with his wife, a rising star at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and their two daughters, dog, and cat.
