Wallace Carter Clayton II

A few months ago I was arrested on several serious charges. After initially consulting with Carter, I decided he would be the best person to represent me based on his clear understanding of my situation, and his ability to explain what was happening in layman's terms. I’m pretty ignorant when it come...s to legal processes, but Carter was very patient in explaining my options to me, and answered all of my questions completely - regardless of how silly or paranoid they were. He was attentive and professional through the entire process, which reassured me I had made the right decision in hiring him. Ultimately, Carter was able to negotiate a reasonable plea agreement with the prosecutor, which was really the best possible outcome for my case. I hope I’ll never require this type of legal service again, but I would certainly rehire Carter if I did.

Carter was my attorney for my divorce he kept me up to date with everything that was going on. He provided considered and compassionate advice while I was going through a very difficult time. He was knowledgable about the process and was able to provide a perspective in resolving issues that I had n...ot considered in the process. I cannot recommend him more highly.

After being arrested and bailed out, I contacted Carter by email the following day. Within an hour, I was on the phone with him and had an appointment to meet the day after. I was surprised at how quickly I got an appointment. He wasted no time in addressing all the details of the case and explained ...thoroughly any questions I had. After I expressed that I intended to plead guilty, he went over the minimum sentence and suggested that I go ahead and get started on some of the minimum sentence requirements. Throughout the process, Carter was quick to return phone calls and emails. I never felt out of touch with him. In the end, I received the minimum sentence.
