David Joseph Younker

My HOA fees unfortunately pay Mr. Younker to essentially represent the board which consists of one, problematic individual who refuses any transparency and repeatedly violates the by-laws of out community. I cannot stress enough that he does not serve the interests of the community that pays him. Aft...er repeated issues in neglect to our building and lack of responsiveness by "the board" I hired an expert in GA HOA by-laws. As part if a non-litigious agreement, she reached out several times to Mr Younker but he's little help. According to "the board" the simple act of proving documents guaranteed to me in our by-laws cost $9,000 (in fees to Mr. Younker according to an overdue budget). After several requests, and thousands of dollars, he finally dictated that I could view materials by coming all the way up to Marietta. Though asked several times, he's never disclosed what materials he has and whether I can make copies for the community. He will not share soft copies in this day and age. Finally, when I attempted to join the board I was told that Mr. Younker will not allow such given my history of working to gain documentation by working with an individual who has a legal degree.
