N/AOUTCOME: Not guilty on all counts
Murder trial in Clayton County facing a guaranteed life sentence if we lose. Manettas Law took on the case as lead and only counsel. My guy is seen pulling a body into a house shortly after reports of ... shots fired. Police arrive on the scene to find only a dead body locked in one side of the duplex, and my guy supposedly barricaded in the connected duplex. The guy eventually exits the duplex after a standoff with police, and he's immediately arrested. A neighbor claims to recognize my guy's voice arguing with the dead person immediately before hearing the shots. After being arrested the guy talks to police and lies about the eyewitness accounts, among other things. His clothes test positive for gunshot residue. However, each and every one of those things were demonstrated to have reasonable doubt under an alternate explanation as well as fitting into the rest of the facts.
