Virgil L. Brown

Virgil Brown and Eric Hearn are pit bulls! These two are absolutely the best criminal defense attorney's on the south side of Atlanta. And having been in practice for almost 30 years he has an extensive network in place and great relationships with DA's, Judges & local LEO's. MOST of whom are scared ...to death of the man. I have personally witnessed both Virgil and Eric lay waste to to witnesses for the prosecution as well as opposing council from the DA's office. The DA knows that when a Defendant has retained Virgil Brown and Associate's that his case damn well better be airtight or the DA's office will be HUMILIATED in open court. I truly believe the man takes a significant amount of pride in publicly embarrassing his opponents in court. The bottom line is this.... a lot of Virgil's cases are not prosecuted/dismissed by the DA because he knows that Virgil with bring everything including the kitchen sink and I firmly believe that Virgil has the Georgia Criminal Code memorized. I'm certain that had I used a PD or another local attorney the DA would have brought the case to trial but with Virgil on the opposite side he knew the case was a long shot at best. AND here's the thing... they had me dead to right! I felt certain that I was going to do jail time but instead I walked away a free man. Albeit about $15,000 lighter in the wallet. That's the other thing.... Virgil isn't cheap but you damn sure get what you pay for and in this case you get a top notch pit bull lawyer who isn't afraid to go head to head with ANY Judge, ADA, DA, or LEO. On another note.... when a local JUDGE or member of law enforcement or any other public office gets in hot water...... they run like hell to Virgil and that says a lot. When you see local attorney's etc. hiring Virgil there is obviously a reason and I see this as a quasi-professional endorsement.
