Alan W. Connell

My case was a personal injury case. A former friend recommended Alan Connell to represent me after I was hit by a car crossing the street. My insurance agent came to the hospital the day I was hit and gave me a figure based on my insurance alone. During the first meeting at court we met behind closed doors to sort out a temporary agreement. Allan did not fight for me at all, he agreed to high child support. I spoke up and negotiated it down myself. When I requested the use of one of the family vehicles he cut me off and didn't let me argue my... point. The next step was mediation. We met at the courthouse and Allan had not prepared me at all for negotiation. In the following months I negotiated a settlement and sent it to Allan to prepare and send to the other attorney. Allan charged me four hours to read the document . In the end I did all the negotiating and I paid Allan close to twenty thousand dollars for him to take a few phone calls from the other attorney, read the agreement I prepared and process the property deeds at the courthouse, which he did wrong the first time and billed me again to fix.
