Mr. Westbroek I am compelled to write because I am impressed by you. I know someone who is using your services. I am a x- paralegal. So often an attorney will go into the court looking for "a easy solution" convince a defendant to plea out, or accept a prosecutor's offer often with threats of max j...ail time (or similar}if plea is not accepted. A lot of these defendants are cash poor and accept offers even though their civil rights were violated. The police make arrests, illegal stops, illegal search's and seizure's every day because they know most defendants cant afford to defend their selves and defendant attorneys or (public defenders) don't want to work that hard to prove civil rights violations or through relationships with the " system " (prosecutors,judges,police) and become complacent within the "good ol' boy mentality.
