Made a difficult time easier

I felt comfortable and welcomed in their offices. I was treated respectfully, and guided through what could have been a difficult and confusing bankruptcy process. They answered my questions, kept me informed on my case progress, and worked through a payment process I felt I could handle. Reminders... of my responsibilities along the way were extremely helpful, and appreciated. Even though my case was discharged over a year ago, I recently had something show up on my credit report that was inaccurate, and when I contacted them with for help they immediately handled it for me. Working with someone that helps you from not only beginning to end, but also continues after your case is complete, is of great value when it comes to handling legal issues.

Alex Hait is an excellent lawyer!

Alex was very knowledgeable and quick to respond to my inquiries. He crafted some impressive documents and was able to guide me through the complications of the legal process; drawing on his years of experience. I fully trust Hait & Kuhn, which, being someone who had never gone through a legal procee...ding was a concern when I first went attorney shopping. I presented some legal questions and got responses while he was on vacation! I was going through a crisis in my divorce/custody situation and he was there when I needed him most. Oh yeah, did I mention we won! I would certainly recommend Hait & Kuhn to my friends and relatives.

I will use this Firm again if the occasion warrants

I retained Hait, Eichelzer & Kuhn to handle my divorce. It was a very good expierence. I was very pleased with the instant response to questions by phone or emails. It took longer than I anticipated to settle, but I was told up front that it could take about a year. It was at no fault of theirs, be...tween the Sheriff's office dropping the ball at the beginning, the oppossing council taking all kinds of time off for one reason or another and various other delay tactics, we stood strong and reached a settlement. I was very comfortable with their invoicing policy. After the initial retainer I was only billed for the work completed each month. My bill was higher than I expected, but again, that was due to the oppossing council's motions, phone calls and emails. Their are circumstances that you do not have any control of. I found Alex to be very aware of all phases of my case. I first met him at the pretrial meeting where he filled in for Attorney Elizabeth Kuhn while she was out sick. He resolved many issues at this meeting. He also was at the final hearing and he did a fine job. He and the entire office are very honest and friendly. I will use Alex and Hait, Eichelzer & Kuhn again if need be.

Great People, Great Lawyer.

I've used Hait & Eichelzer for many years close to 8 years now. They have handled all my legal issues with quick responses. I have recommended them to many of my friends who also have had great results. Their office is always busy so call ahead and make sure they are available. I would personal s...ay if your honest with them they will tell you your chances straight up.

DO NOT HIRE!!! WORST ATTORNEY EVER!

This attorney represented me in a divorce case and from what my new attorney has stated his performance is nothing less than malpractice. Then he called me by another client’s name during court. Hait was incredibly rude, sexist, and degrading. Hait was friendly at first and charged a higher ret...ainer than comparable attorney but said “you get what you pay for”. However after he took my money he treated me as if I didn’t exist anymore. He never returned my calls, completely failed to communicate with me, he was late for the one court appearance we had, not only was he completely unprepared but he wasn’t even familiar with the details of my case. Due to Hait’s total lack of disregard for me or my case we lost a simple hearing that according to him beforehand should have been an easy win. He even called me by another client’s name during court. Hait was incredibly rude, sexist, and degrading. He spent so much time on the phone with others at the break at the courthouse that he failed to give me two seconds to allow me to correct the many blunders he stated in court. When I fired him he refused to give me a copy of my file, he sent me a bill that was obviously padded and reflecting work he had never performed. My present attorney called the people he claimed to have spoken to and they had never heard from him. I asked for a refund for the unused portion of my retainer and he refused to return the money to me. Everything he told me was a lie and I don’t see how this man is still out there practicing law! The best thing I did was fire him and when I’m done I will be filing a Bar Complaint because his actions, or lack thereof, were unconscionable!

I would like to respond to this person with specifics but I do not know who (s)he is. I believe this is likely a person who my firm handled a case against and this is the persons attempt to get back at me. As you can see, most of my reviews are 5 star. If this person would give me his or her name, even privately, I will be happy to respond with facts about their case. Another indication that this is a false review is she states her new lawyer says that the divorce was a simple case. No divorce is ever a simple case and anyone who knows me will tell you that. My firm is honorable, ethical and honest and we will always communicate with our clients. Just read the other reviews on my page.
