Eleanor Ann Joseph

Eleanor Joseph is the Principal and Owner of Eleanor Joseph & Associates, LLC. Ms. Joseph has been an attorney since 1985, and has a strong background in corporate compliance for health care companies. Earlier in her career she represented health care providers (hospitals, nursing homes, home health and hospice clients) in litigation, in legislative activity and in business and compliance issues.

Ms. Joseph has served as an Arbitrator on numerous matters with the American Arbitration Association and American Health Lawyers Association. She has served as arbitrator for many securities arbitrations and mediations.

During the past 20 years, her clients have been primarily pharmaceutical manufacturers. She represented major pharmaceutical companies before the Florida Legislature, the Georgia General Assembly and served as a lobbyist in Washington DC. She also worked closely on behalf of companies during her time at PhRMA as a policy professional. She was responsible for analyzing and reporting on state legislation in all of the eastern states as well as assisting with task force meetings and drafting and supporting PhRMA initiatives. She has assisted companies in drafting policies regarding application of state aggregate spend laws as well as compliance with Sunshine Act reporting.

In 2004, Ms. Joseph expanded her compliance focus and began offering lobbyist compliance services on behalf of certain existing clients. She now focuses the majority of her time on this endeavor. She offers top quality, professional and courteous services to clients for a reasonable and competitive rate.

Ms. Joseph has personally trained her compliance staff in all areas related to lobbyist compliance and reporting. She supervises and works closely with her employees on a daily basis. Ms. Joseph personally responds to clients on complicated campaign finance and pay to play laws and other issues.
