A year ago I filed for chapter 7 and had a discharge order. Does this encompass payday loans as well?

I agree with Ms. Stencel. You need to check into this. If you had the payday loans on your bkcy they are discharged.

It doesn't matter. The rule is 8 years now and that is what is controlling.
