You could just wait 2-3 weeks to file or if you have an atty, ask them the policy about resetting a date after it is already set

You can go online less expensively to make a will than thru an atty but I don't trust that everything done is as thorough as through an atty.

This may seem silly but why do you have to locate the owner. Whoever sold it to you should have the owners' signature
