You can but it won't be discharged. A 13 will help save your home but it is difficult to pay the trustee and your mtge

I have to refer you to the trust document and the trustee. The grantor most likely could transfer whatever he decided to.

When you do get calls tell them the debt was discharged in bankruptcy. They are not allowed to continue and if they do see an attorney .

If your friend left you anything in the trust, his trustee will contact you. If you know who it is you may be able to confirm whether you are in it.

I don't recommend a professional trustee unless there is no close relative or friend you trust
