Kent brought action against Cox and the City of Albany, for personal injuries sustained as a result of an auto accident. Chisolm Trimble represented both Cox and the City of Albany. Kent argued both ... were liable because the accident occurred during the scope of Cox's employment. However, Attorney Trimble argued that pursuant to Georgia law the action against the City of Albany must be dismissed because the Plaintiff failed to provide sufficient ante litem notice to the City of Albany within six months.
