She has received numerous awards during her time on the faculty including SGA's Faculty Member of the Year (twice), Sigma Kappa's Top Professor Award, and multiple teaching, research, service, and development awards. Leanne also serves as Administrative Director of the Georgia WebMBA, which was recently ranked by US News and World Report as the #4 online MBA program in the nation.
Prior to transitioning to academia, Leanne practiced as an Associate for six years at McKenna, Long, and Aldridge, LLP (now Dentons US, LLP), an AmLaw 100 large international law firm in downtown Atlanta, where she began as a Summer Associate. In her law practice, she represented large commercial clients in a variety of business litigation matters. Her primary practice areas included business law, employment law, and commercial litigation.
