Rachel Danielle Conley

Rachel was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia.  After graduation from Wheeler High School, Magnet School of Math, Science & Technology in 2005, Rachel received a dual undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2008, with a double major in Political Science and Spanish.  While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Rachel was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, studied abroad in Cadiz, Spain, worked at a local preschool, and zealously supported the Georgia Bulldogs.

After spending a year working as a legal assistant in an Athens, Georgia law firm, Rachel enrolled at the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law.  During her time at Mercer, Rachel served as a judicial intern in the Superior Court to the Honorable Lamar W. Sizemore, Jr., prior to his retirement from the bench, and subsequently to the Honorable Tilman E. Self, III.  Rachel also participated in the Association of Women Lawyers and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, and received awards for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing, Commercial Transactions, and Comparative Law. 

After receiving her Juris Doctor from Mercer University in 2012 and being admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, Rachel worked for over three years as a judicial staff attorney to the Honorable David L. Cannon, Jr., in the Superior Court of Cherokee County, where she gained valuable experience in a wide array of both civil and criminal areas of law.  Rachel joined Thompson, Meier & King in 2016, and currently focuses her private client practice in the areas of domestic/family and criminal law, while also representing the Department of Family and Children Services in Juvenile Court.  Rachel also enjoys serving as Guardian ad Litem in contested custody cases.
