She kicked a** in the Courtroom-Family Lawyer

Words cant describe what a blessing it was to find this woman to represent me. I found Erica Tisinger while I was going through continuance for a motion to reconsider.I had filed so my ex and I could come to an agreement about meeting halfway with transportation agreements because I had moved to anot...her state. Initially I had hired another lawyer(Dan Barnes) to represent me. Long story short my request about transportation turned into a dirty custody/child support modification case and I was being represented by the lawyer from ****. Mid point into the case I started feeling more and more like my attorney actually may have accepted employment/partnership with the opposing party's firm and I needed to make a change a.s.a.p. What started off as simple, turned into the possibility that I could loose my children that I had birthed and raised, primarily myself...which was absurd! Anyway...I was able to retain Erica, who was first referred to me by one of her colleagues at her firm and later confirmed by another attorney who I thought I wanted at the time, but because her prices were steeper than Mt. Everest, I couldn't retain anyway. Again there are not enough characters to tell you the things that she has done when it came to my case...what I can tell you is this woman combed through every nook and cranny for mistakes made in my case, she was available within 24 hours to answer any questions about my case.. I was so trained by the prior attorneys office to email everything because "there was too much going on to get my call... emails were how they communicated more efficiently", I was surprised to hear a human voice when she would call about things concerning my case. I appreciated her position about client/attorney communication, and I'll never forget, I emailed her something real important about my case and like a trained puppy waited for an response via email and she called me, and said " I thought it would be better if I just called and answered these questions. It just doesn't sound the same when you email it".That meant a lot to me. When your already stressed, the last thing you want is a r/t email days later or temporary orders emailed to you 3am, 3 hours before work, no notice, to drive/drop off kids in another state. Before Erica, my husband could of been diagnosed w sleep deprivation, because I spent many night in tears about fear of the worrying about things my attorney should have been handling and the fact I could lose my kids. I didn't mention my ex had hired a lawyer that would senselessly argue with a pebble if you paid her. She annoyed the hell out of my prior Attorney so bad I believe he just begin to agree with whatever she would argue, for the sake of not having to deal with her debate of everything. I'm happy to say when Erica came along she was not moved by those tactics and when I hired her you'd of thought she killed them because the next time I heard anything about/from them was 6 months later and she had pushed for me to get a final hearing. Which the other side had been trying to avoid for whatever reason. On the day of the final hearing, my ex's lawyer appeared acting the same way she looks. Even though they had tried everything under the sun to drag us through the mud with lies and ridiculous accusations. Nothing worked. We were scheduled a private session w the judge, but most of the time was spent with the attorneys in the judges chambers. There were a lot of benefits that came out of being represented by Erica. Aside that she was very confident from knowing her stuff. She didn't scare easily. She was very professional but firm, a very pretty and petite lady, disguised as the terminator in the courtroom. The result of my case was that I got way more than I expected. In a custody case I don't think anyone really wins. Especially when you consider what your kids go through during this, but if I had to measure the outcome, I would say I bet my ex is wishing he had my attorney now.
