Kevin Alan James

After graduating from law school, I began my legal career in Columbus, Georgia where I lived while my wife was in the military and stationed at Fort Benning. Upon moving to the Atlanta area, I practiced with a well known Plaintiff’s personal Injury Firm where I gained extensive first chair jury trial experience. During this time, I obtained one of the top 100 Plaintiff’s jury verdicts in the United States ($52,000,000 in a negligent security/premises liability case resulting from a shooting).

I joined Groth, Makarenko, Kaiser & Eidex in 2020 where my practice focuses on auto and premises liability defense. I am licensed in the State Courts of Florida and Georgia and am a member of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association, the Tort and Insurance Section of the State Bar of Georgia and CLM. I have extensive first chair jury trial experience, representing plaintiffs and defendants, and serve as a Partner at GMKE. In addition, I am a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and serve as a mediator with Sugarloaf ADR.
