Melvin T. Johnson

Well, there's really not much to say because the people has already spoken. SMH.. So, my family member hired him to to sue me for a property that I purchased and renovated back in the early 2000's. Have you ever heard the old saying " If you cant beat them, then join them" or something close to that...? Well, shady people are attracted to shady people. Melvin Johnson is Nigerian I believe, my family member is Jamaican and the female attorney that I retained at the time was American. That was a recipe for disaster. They found a common place and chose to form an alliance. My attorney, she know who she is, was not loyal to me at all. Needless to say, my counter claim was doomed and instead of winning, I received a judgement against me. In my opinion, I think Mr.Johnson was very shady but smooth at the same time because he knew how to play against that (female) attorney's emotions to accomplish his deed. I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus that has already gotten run over and is now road kill, but I'm just happy to see justice is served.

I could've did a better job representing myself. Melvin Johnson gave me all the wrong advice on what to do and I was later found in contempt for doing what he said. He would show up to court unprepared. He didn't present my evidence to the judge. He refused to meet prior to court dates to prepare. He... lied and told me he filed a motion for child support and I found out he only filed a motion to get his lawyer fees reimbursed. It's all about the money for him. Don't waste your time. This attorney has caused me more stress than my actual case. I'm filing a complaint with the Georgia bar.

I have had issues getting in contact with this attorney. My medical expenses were not paid. It is now costing me money to file a claim in reference to these charges with the Bar, small claims court as well as getting the insurance provider to expedite the issue. The GA Bar will require you to go thro...ugh expeditious proceedings, however it is worth it to repair my credit and to obtain the actual results of the case and if i was taken advantage of. Please do your research. I advised the clinic to also do their research as they were not paid. I work with several attorney and I was explained that this is not typical business practices, even from how my information was obtained. Please do research, this is your livelihood.

Please don't Hire thus Attorney him and his staff are very unprofessional. I got into an Accident back in may and my case has yet to have been settled and. I'm being kicked out if my home and about to be in the streets with no place to go and this guy swore up and down it would be settled by then and... it has yet to have been settled. Don't waste time with this guy.
