A native of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Joey attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering. He then attended Georgia State University College of Law where he graduated cum laude. During law school, Joey was an active member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association, and he also interned for the Fulton County solicitor’s office where he began to whet his appetite for civil litigation.
Upon graduating from law school, Joey spent seven years practicing law for an AM Law 200 law firm where he honed his legal skills and sharpened his acumen by providing legal services for numerous high-profile companies in a variety of industries.
Fearless in competition, in his free time, Joey enjoys playing sports and engaging in outdoor activities with his family. He also has a passion for music, reading, and entrepreneurship.
