David talked me into paying by PayPal friend for he wouldn't have to pay taxes on it. I hesitated but did it not really comfortable about it. Since he received my money. I received no substantial response, work , help with my issues. I asked for a refund. He stated he would have his assistant se...nd me a check. I never seen it to this day 4 months later as of 1/20/2024. The person that recommended him. David went as far ,and lied to her saying he was going to send my check. Now he doesn't even lie to me just ignores me. Lawyer that can't be trusted to perform services and take tax free money from clients shouldn't be aloud to practice law. I have used him for a few things and he did great, but my child custoday case is going on OVER 5 1/2 years!! It was an uncontested case, my ex was willing to sign the papers. He has given me every excuse from he lawyer to the courts being closed for COVID-19. Yes the courts were closes last year but ...what about the 4 years prior??? I finally texted him and told him to stop the case and I'll take the $2,500 plus loss. My daughter is now 16 1/2 and can decide who she wants to live with. Such a waste of time and money to get nowhere. Years of arguing with my ex, lost money and my time. Extremely disappointed. I considered him a friend at one point but friends don't do this to friends. I basically feel like he took my money and ran.
