But the public defender is correct that he can't represent more than one person in a case.

I'm going to add one caveat: the federal government doesn't recognize First Offender for immigration purposes. They consider it a felony...

Yes. The DA's office obviously disagrees with whatever judge previously dismissed charges. The DA thinks they can convict you.
