Michael Anthony Edmunds

I’m going to start this review off by saying if you need a lawyer, this is the one you want to hire. Michael puts a very serious passion in his cases, he works for you not just professionally, but personally as well. You can just automatically tell that he puts forth a lot of diligence in his work to... get you out of whatever trouble you may find yourself in. Me personally, I was just recently in a very troubling and sticky situation that I would still be in if it weren’t for Mr. Edmunds. He worked as hard as he possibly could to see me in a better state and out of that predicament. I already have and will continue to refer him to anybody who is in any legal situation that they need help getting out of, this is the man you want.

Mike Edmunds is the BEST! I initially retained him in 2016 to represent me on felony charges in Cobb County. He is reasonable when it comes to fees, is personable, has a great sense of humor and does what he says he is going to do. In the 5 years since my First Offender sentence, Mike has done things... I didn't think possible. He obtained an out-of-country travel permit for me by just bursting into the Judge's chambers and recently had my sentence terminated and disposed of under the FOA against some "grumpy" odds. When I was frustrated and felt defeated, he was like a Rock Star and won for me! I highly recommend Mr. Edmunds. I don't plan on ever getting in trouble again, but if I do, I'm calling Mike!

I hired Mike Edmunds to represent me in a probation termination case, where I had been given a 20 year probation sentence for a drug offense in 2014. I spoke to him on the phone in 2019 and hired him before meeting him in person to file a motion to terminate my probation sentence 15 years early, with... only 25% completed because I had completed all of my probation requirements. I met in person with Mr. Edmunds the day before the hearing, and he took time with me to fully understand the facts and history of my case and prepared me for the hearing. Mr. Edmunds presented my case clearly to the judge and advocated for the extra volunteer work I had done and still do while on probation, which was in addition to my required 200 community service hours. He was professional and compassionate about my case and communicated the necessary points to the judge that made the judge understand and recognize the facts of my case and what I had done while on probation which made the judge decide in our favor, against an opposing DA. I would hire Mike again for any criminal case.
