Jeffrey D. Bunch

We met with Jeff for a DUI case after receiving his marketing letter in the mail. After paying a retainer, we contacted Mr. Bunch to answer a few questions. After 3 weeks of no response we spoke to his secretary and she informed us that he would not begin any work on our case until we had paid the to...tal fee in FULL. (We had paid a third.) This was never disclosed in our initial meeting. Move forward to our court date, We tried to contact Mr. Bunch several times as to where and when we had to be and what preparations we might need to have for court. No responses to any inquiries! We finally visited his office on the court day (the office, which was in total disarray, piles of papers on the floors, etc.) and spoke to his secretary. She gave us a "he's so busy" speech and found that he was supposedly working a docket reschedule. Thanks for telling your client and thanks for wasting 2 persons full work days by not communicating with your paid-in-full client. Is a simple phone call or text message to difficult? On our new court date he did a terrible, underwhelming job of defending our case. He made a weak negotiation with the prosecutor and made NO attempt to argue the case to the judge. We had the arrest video which was incredibly in our favor yet Jeff didn't even present this evidence or argue any points to the judge. Final outcome was severe penalties. Consultations with law enforcement, other outcomes of similar cases and opinions of other lawyers summaries that this case should have been dismissed. My overall impression of Mr. Bunch's performance is of the lowest quality. Communication was extremely poor. Representation was nearly absent. Not recommended.

Very smart and very nice is the way i would describe these attorneys. Jeff Bunch was my lawyer and he was great. First, he won my case. Second, he talked to me lots to let me know what was happening. Third, it cost a lot less than he estimated. His paralegal, Lisa, was also very helpful especially wh...en he was in court. . He is my lawyer for life. I like his new office, too.

All in all this is the best law firm I have ever seen. Jeff Bunch is perhaps the hardest working guy on the planet. He always either took my call or called me back, and he defended me well. He prepared me well for trial and he did a great job in jury selection. After he made his opening argument, the... other side caved and gave us almost everything we wanted. If you want a real trial attorney who will do a great job, you should seek him. I did, and it was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
