Get your friend a lawyer ASAP. What will happen to him depends on many factors, including his criminal history, the judge, the prosecutor etc....

The attorney can get it through the prosecutor by opting in to discovery (i.e. filing a discovery motion), or can obtain some or all of it...

What is the max time for arm robbery and kidapping,no one was hurt. The person was never caught but they still have charges.

The maximum for armed robbery is life and the maximum for kidnapping could be life, depending on the age of the alleged victim and/or other factors.
