I was highly recommended by a friend who had used Judy King for his divorce and he was very happy with the end result. I am a survivor of domestic abuse. He abandoned me and walked away from all responsibilities, leaving me with all the debt and no income. I tried several time to get a divorce o...n my own, filing with the Court but then he fled the State and went into hiding. I was hoping not to use an Attorney so that we both could go on with our lives without heartache and costs. I was served divorce papers this April, 2016. I was extremely excited when the Police Officer delivered them thinking he had come to his senses and we could do a non-contested divorce. I was wrong. He still had his narcissistic personality and was out to get me. My friend told me to call Judy King. As soon as I had my first consultation meeting with Judy, I knew she was the one for me. Judy got right to the point and explained all that was involved. Judy is a no-nonsense, go-getter who only deals with the facts and I immediately felt a sigh of relief. Judy and her assistant/paralegal Kristen are a great team. They walked me through the process of getting all the paperwork done and were very patient and understanding of my emotional state. Judy is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly how to handle my case. I am very thankful to have had Judy and Kristen on my team while going through such a stressful and emotional time. Judy was good at first. But she drove up costs. She really never tried to bring both sides together. You can tell much about a lawyer if they really try to bring both sides together to find a mutual common ground. She does not know integrity - the word escapes her. I recognize this later as I nev...er got bills during my first 4 months and then I got them! I never knew what what going on and I was kept in the dark about expenses until it was too late.

Judy handled my divorce in 2007 and has worked with me on many other battles with my ex on matters dealing with my kids and money she owed me upon the sale of our home. Everytime, Judy did the ethithcal , legal process to get done what shod be done. Never, ever did Judy advise me to do anything impro...per, hide any assets, or do anything dishonest. She has high morals and ethics and does what the law says. At all times she advised me to do the right thing, and when my ex tryed to cheat me out of what was legally mine,Judy made her follow the law and our divorce decree. Ever oppunity I have, I recommend Judy to friend and people I know, who R about to go thru this horrible process of Divorce. Thank God I had Judy to represent me during this process.

Judy has represented me on my divorce, matters after my divorce, and matters dealing with my money hungry, LIEING , ex wife. Judy does not let her get by with breaking the law and not living up to our agreement. Judy never runs up a bill, she tells U like it is legally, and will not allow even her cl...ients to do the wrong thing. Most ETHICIAL, HARD WORKINGBLAWYER I HAVE KNOWN.
