David Leroy Whitman

mr whitman although a very nice man, was the suckiest (if thats even a word) lawyer ever. The whole time that he was may lawyere I spoke to him maybe a total of a 2 hours combined.. the most i found out about my case was a few days before going.. then when i get there i tried discussing the possiblit...ies of going to trial and he kept trying to push me to take a 6 month plea deal where i would go to jail. He did not present the entire plea deal to me. Also kept telling me the DA had a very weak case.. pretty much no evidence but one word against another, but still kept trying to pressure me. At a calendae call I asked the judge for a continuance to retain my own lawyer. I told Mr. Whitman my plan before hand he tried to tell me that only 90% of the time your able to change your lawyer (that was a lie) the judge told me that it was my right to obtain my own lawyer if i wish to do so
