Gave false info and poor counsel. Advised me to motion for a jury trial, assured it wouldn't happen and was merely a "delay tactic," then proceeded to bill me over $20,000 for "jury trial prep" but never prepared me or any of my witnesses for testimony. I had no idea what questions he'd ask me, or ho...w to respond to opposing counsel's cross. Did not prepare a closing argument and had to speak extemporaneously, which was poorly done. Didn't tell me that my character affidavits were inadmissible in court unless the person was called as a witness, UNTIL AFTER court. Said my child support could be modified after a few months. Advised me to pay the full amount a few times and then petition for adjustment. The Dep. of Child Services says I must wait 3 years... Never provided me a list of submitted evidence in advance of, or during, court. Billed me for document prep after court ended, and when I requested said docs in writing, ignored my email. He deposed a witness for opposing counsel without telling me. Billed me for Facebook data mining yet never produced it nor submitted as evidence. Failed to submit my phone text messages as evidence. Knowingly and intentionally entered into evidence a false, inaccurate business evaluation in order to "help" my case (which BTW it did not). Declined to hire a court reporter, without asking me for my opinion on the matter, and as a result my testimony was mis-remembered and mis-quoted by the judge in his "decision" including most importantly, how much I earn, which the judge used to determine my income and child support erroneously. Billed me for weekly case update / debriefing meetings even though there were multi-month-long periods where nothing was happening, including a month during which he was "out of office." Regarding custody division, told me during mediation, and afterwards leading up to arbitration, and again after arbitration, that 60/40 custody was the best I could get, because "the court can't issue true 50/50 custody or 2-2-5" because "someone has to be the primary guardian in order to determine child support." This is false. 50/50 custody is awarded in Georgia.
