The client was charged with accepting a bribe when a sting operation revealed he took money from a lady in order to prevent her water from being turned off. During discussions with the prosecutor, it ... was shown the amount of money alleged to have been taken was grossly exaggerated. The State agreed to dismiss the bribery charge and the client plead to a misdemeanor theft charge. He was given probation and 80 hours of community service.

OUTCOME: Parole reinstated

The client was on parole for a drug charge. While on parole, he was arrested on two separate occasions. The first arrest involved a speeding charge and reckless charge for driving 120 MPH; the second ... was for driving under the influence of alcohol. The client was held in custody on a parole hold, and was told initially he would have to go back to prison and serve at least one year in jail. After discussions with the parole officer and the two separate prosecuting offices, the client was placed in a treatment program and released from custody. His parole was reinstated. The client plead to one count of speeding at 90 in a 65 and the reckless charge was dismissed. The client also plead to one count of DUI and all other charges were dismissed.
