Dropped my case weeks before Christmas, One year of my life and 50% of my statue of limitation ruined.

Let me start by saying. One of the biggest mistakes of my life was bringing a case to Rita Williams. 7 months into my case, after hearing nothing since signing up with Rita's office. I call to get an update, one of her staff emails me the demand letter her office wrote. My incident was a physical... assault situation, the demand letter that she wrote accused the business of hitting me with an automobile. The letter also had a " Demand " amount payable to settle the matter, which was a figure I never authorized. I called her office several times after reading this demand letter to speak to her, 9 out of 10 times I was told she would call me back. 100% of the time I never received a return call. After almost a year, No communication, a demand letter which contained info for a situation non related to mine. Rita's paralegal informed me they were trying to weigh out rather or not they would file suit against the business. Shocked out of my mind, requested a conversation with Rita. This time Rita accepts the call. During that call she went on to accuse me of lying to her, she accused me of being drunk during the incident. Which I wasn't, and could be proved by a bartab which was forwarded to her. ( This had nothing to do with driving ) She raised her voice at me and spoke to me like a child, scolding me giving her office misinformation. She then told me she would contact me in a week for a face to face meeting. A few days later after this conversation, I received a letter in the mail, stating they were dropping my case. This was about 2 weeks before Christmas. Another lawfirm took over the case. Thankfully I'm in much better hands. If you are in a situation which requires legal support, my heart goes out to you. But know this, if your looking for non stop stress, unprofessional practices, you've found your lawfirm! Anyone considering this laughing stock of a lawfirm, get ready for radio silence from the moment you bring your case forward. And good luck ever getting a meeting / phone call. From the moment you sign you will be the most distant element of your case from knowing any information on anything.
