ms oliver is the most unethical, rude, uncaring attorney i have dealt with in my job and personal life.

Ms. Oliver was the attorney who was appointed by my sister and agreed to by the judge to oversee the spending of my mother's money which my sister has control of due to the fact that she was appointed conservatorship by default as I did not have my mothers money to hire top notch attorneys who were ...in with the judge in Decatur Ga as my sister did. This appointment would pay Ms. Oliver out of my mothers assets and per the judge this appointment was made so that my mother, myself and her grandson would know that my sister was not abusing money that is for my mothers well being not for my sister to spend. The judge made me represent myself and it ended in a nightmare for my MOTHER, my son and myself. The only winners were my sister and all the legal players. One of whom (the main one as far as the conservatorship went) was Mary Oliver. After my sister gained complete control of my mother she quickly moved my mother almost 3,000 miles from Georgia which caused my mother critical cognitive and personal problems. My sister put her in a facility with a very bad reputation. Because this state has different laws and the POA person controls the parent and I was not told this before going to this state (as the judge in Georgia said I could see anytime I wanted) I spent a fortune to move to this state to be close to my mother only to be told they had different laws and it did not matter what the judge said in Georgia.According to the records there was supposed to be a fund set up for her grandson and myself to pay expenses to go see my mother. When I approached Ms. Olivier I was treated very badly even being cursed by one of her employees and in 5 years she has provided only 500 hundred dollars for trips that have amounted to close to $100,00.00. When I asked her what state my mother was now a resident of she smugly said" I do not know." When I asked her where the reporting of my mothers expenses were she again blew me off. It has now been 5years and she has not once done her job of reporting these expenses. I would urge someone that might need her services to find someone who really cares and who follows the rules of the court and does not believe they are above the law or courts orders. When it comes to any kind of family law involving a person you love more than anyone in the world I would take whatever time it takes and interview previous clients, check all her records and think twice before you entrust with something as important as a family member. Young or old. I have dealt with a lot of attorneys through my corporation, financial matters and family matters and she is by far the worst. She is the most uncaring, egotistical professional I have ever had to deal with. She uses her position in the House of Representatives but I believe the only reason she has this position is she has never been opposed by anyone. Please be very careful when retaining her in a matter as important as a family member. Also recommend this site to anyone you know seeking legal counsel as it saved my a lot of money and heartache checking on an attorney about a totally different matter but by checking avvo I was able to avoid a nightmare unlike this one..It is a great way to find out the truth before you get involved finanacially and emotionally.
