Attorney knowingly misguided and grossly underrepresented me in court and charged me thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars for a simple case and costs me even more thousands of dollars in terms of another aspect of the case. The attorney communicated with me prior to court as though her co...urt room delivery was going to be succinct and in my best interest according law(s). In court, it suddenly became apparent that the attorney was not prepared and unfamiliar with the particulars of my case in terms of applicable law(s) pertinent to my case. During court, I witnessed sheer incompetence in many forms. The attorney never admitted nor apologize for her incredulous mistakes and disservices to me. She very arrogantly shifted the blame by trying to pull the wool over my eyes even after the case was over. I experienced lack of integrity, dishonest dealings and severe unethical behavior by her that didn’t follow common civil decency towards a human being and a client. She didn’t follow the American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct. The attorney clearly duped me out of thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars through incompetent representation and my naive/gullible fiduciary trust. A very deceptive and terrible experience. The attorney charged me astronomical fees for a case where she clearly displayed incompetency and lack of preparation for my case. I can write a book about my awful experience. I learned from this attorney to at least screen 10 lawyers prior to hiring one and to try very, very, very hard to obtain or retain an attorney through a referral by a person(s) that has had direct experience and ethical dealings with the selected attorney. This was an incredulous and highly unprofessional experience for me as a client and the ABA/American Bar Associate and State Bar Association should not ever allow this to happen to clients that retain incompetent and untrustworthy counsel. A fiduciary is any person or institution that has the power to act on behalf of another in situations that require great trust, honesty, and loyalty. Fiduciaries include accountants, attorneys, bankers, business advisers, financial advisers, mortgage brokers and real estate agents. These individuals are hired to act in your best interests and must set aside their own personal motives in favor of your goals and well-being. Unfortunately, I didn't experience this fiduciary trusts with the attorney. The attorney did not act in my best interest by no means. There needs to be a third party non-bias entity that ensures that the hired or retained lawyers conforms to fiduciary trust with their clients and when the trust is breached there must be serious action taken against the attorney to make the client back whole after such a devastating breach. It was also quite evident that the attorney didn't care even a grain of salt about her mistakes and breach of fiduciary trust. The attorney was able to gouge me in terms of legal fees as result of me not knowing, at the time, that I was actually being deceived and underrepresented by my own hired counsel. And in the process of being deceived I was simultaneously forking out thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to an attorney that was simultaneously misrepresenting me and providing me gross misinformation about my case. The attorney didn't do proper discovery work for my case. Again, I could go on and on. I am just still in disbelief that the American Bar Association and the relevant State Bar Association doesn't review the outcomes of attorneys' cases to see if some form of fiduciary trust was breached during the representation.
