Most attorneys come to criminal defense or personal injury from one direction. I came from two.
Before founding Assured Justice Law Firm, I spent 3.5 years as a prosecutor, first at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, then at the Cobb County Solicitor General’s Office. I handled DUI cases, serious traffic offenses, and criminal matters from the other side of the courtroom. I know how prosecutors evaluate cases, what makes them push forward, and what makes them reconsider. That knowledge doesn’t disappear when you switch sides, it becomes an advantage.
What makes my background unusual is that I’m also a licensed engineer. Before law, I studied civil engineering. That training changes how I approach cases involving vehicle accidents, commercial trucks, and accident reconstruction. I can read a black box report, analyze load data, and challenge expert testimony in ways that most attorneys simply can’t, because I have the technical foundation to do it.
I started Assured Justice Law Firm because I wanted to build a practice focused on results, not volume. I take serious cases seriously.
