Mark David Ball

Mark grew up in outside the small town of Ballentine, SC.  He was the fisrt in his family to attend college and obtained a law degree from the University of South Carolina in 1989.  The year prior to graduating law school, he began working for the Murdaugh Law in Hampton, SC and has been with the firm since 1988. 

After joining the firm, Mark has been involved in many community organizations including: United Way, Hampton County Literacy Board, Hampton Disability Board, Ducks Unlimited, Hampton/Allendale Hospice Association and Hampton County Democratic Party.  In addition to community organizations, he served more than 14 years as a board member, officer and president of the SC Trial Lawyers Association.  The SC Trial Lawyers Assocition, now South Carolina Association for Justice, has more that 1200 members through out the State of South Carolina.  Mark also served on the SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce and organization dedicated representing small businesses in South Carolina through legislative efforts and public education.

Professionally, Mark has represented client from all back ground in matters from workers'compensation claims to complex product liablity cases involving tires, vehicles, farm equipment and comsumer products.  His clients have included those persons burned, poisoned, killed and mamed as well as those fortunate enough not to suffer as serious injures.

His pholosphy is that all people need to be listened to and helped if possible.
