Matthew Lindauer: Mr. Lindauer has over 15 years of experience advising and representing clients on various issues including: family law, employment law, real estate related litigation, insurance coverage and risk management issues. He is a member of the Bars of the States of South Carolina, Delaware and New Jersey. Matthew acts as advocate for clients in civil litigation, providing comprehensive legal counsel and defending their rights. In his experience, first in a small boutique real estate law firm, or representing one of the largest small businesses in the State of Delaware, he has learned that clients want honest answers, personal service, and cost-effective representation. This approach has led to lifetime clients, whose first call when a legal issue arises is to Matthew.
In the past, he has worked with clients, homeowners’ associations, and small businesses on real estate disputes involving restrictive covenants, purchases/sales, leases, landlord/tenant disputes, disputes over breaches of contracts, and probate issues. Most recently, working at a local non-profit law firm providing family law and estate planning services to indigent clients, he has learned the fulfillment of providing representation to individuals going through some of the most stressful and trying times of their lives. Working for a non-profit teaches valuable skills such as compassionate caring representation, all while remaining agile enough to provide cost effective solutions to life’s most challenging issues. Matthew prides himself as problem solver who can get results, but is not afraid of having the hard conversations with his clients. He leverages his experience and utilizes a consultative approach to counsel and collaborate with clients, to craft solutions, not further strife. When advising clients, he relies on risk management principles; avoiding or reducing risks. When negotiation and communication fail, Matthew is a highly effective litigator who never stops advocating for his clients. He respects and is considerate towards his opponents. Matthew is an articulate and persuasive negotiator with a solid background in structuring and negotiating complex settlements
