Felix B. Clayton

A graduate and alumni of the University of North Carolina, earning my law degree in 1970.  After working in the North Carolina Court of Appeals as a law clerk for my first year I then entered into private practice based in Durham, North Carolina.  In 1979, Ireturned to my native state of South Carolina still in the private sector and started focusing my attention to Bankruptcy and Family law.  Since that time I have appeared before the Bankruptcy Courts in the District of South Carolina for over 32 years in cases under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13.  Representation of a variety of clients not limited to any income bracket, stature or even notoriety over my career have shaped and developed a system for success.  My philosophy has been that no client is too small or too large.  While the monetary value or value of collateral may greatly differ from client to client; the intensity and time invested is equal in nature.  The simple formula is finding out what the needs of each individual client are and being able to affectively help them retain, surrender and restructure their entire life. The fundamental idea of “not just change the financial situation” but restructuring the current financial situation so that the outcome is not only long lasting but life changing.
