Mitch started out representing my son's disability. Prior to when he was about to receive his disability my sin suddenly passed away. He started working in my behalf to get me a certain amount of my son's back disability and was doing fine up until he managed to get his share of his payment without c...onsulting me in anyway,shape, or form! I received a letter from him stating that he had been paid so the case is now CLOSED!! I have yet to receive any compensation from social security yet he was paid and I've got nothing! I would have never thought this man could be so dishonest. I've called his office 3 times and finally he had his legal secretary call me to tell me the case is closed I have to deal with social security to get my money,!! He assumed I had gotten paid what attorney takes legal matters to court on assumptions ,not facts! So now I have nothing and he got paid dearly. I thought this man was considered a Christian man. But instead he is as dishonest as they come. Takes his pay and stabs you in the back and throws you to the curb. He should have been honest enough to contact me HIMSELF to find out if I had gotten paid before closing my case. Never trust this attorney!!

Mitch met with my daughter and I for an initial consult on her disability case. He didn't meet with her again until minutes before her hearing, would not respond or answer questions, and only called her for 10 minutes the night before because I called his office staff and requested it. I requested th...e records and his office failed to submit them all before the hearing. Mitch knew nothing about my daughter's case, so the judge interviewed her in the hearing. He scolded Mitch twice in the hearing; Mitch made fun of the judge when it was over. My daughter's case was reviewed by the appeals council because there wasn't a case presented and they had questions about the records. Mitch sent my daughter a letter that her case was closed, and she had me write to his office (I cc'd him) that she would respond to the appeals council and did not want his representation. She finally hired another attorney to help her with the second hearing. The judge ordered that no attorney be paid out of her award from the second hearing so that my daughter could pay the second attorney herself. Mitch submitted a request for payment and has been paid out of my disabled daughter's award, against her written wishes and a judge's order, when he did absolutely nothing and did not represent her at all. He did not respond to correspondence, show up at the hearing, or do anything except to ask for 1/3 of her award money when the hearing was over. He did not represent her well the first time, but he has taken thousands of dollars from a disabled client against her will this time, not for any work he did, but just because he could.
