Biography
Michael Johnson is a 1993 graduate of Auburn University and a 1996 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. In 1996, he was admitted to practice law in the State of South Carolina. Additionally, Michael is admitted before the United States District Court for South Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Michael practices in the areas of workers' compensation, real estate and nursing home neglect litigation.
Michael is an active member of the local community. He was elected to the Fort Mill School Board of Trustees in 2005 and again in 2009. Michael has also served on the Boards of various organizations including the Regional Board of the YMCA, the Upper Palmetto Red Cross as well as being a past President of the Fort Mill Rotary Club. Michael was elected in 2012 as a member of the York County Council.
