Lori Larson Horst

Lori Horst began her career as an educator; but after adopting a child internationally through an agency and then later adopting domestically through Ray Godwin, she pivoted to the law. She credits her change to the law to the experience she had adopting her daughter through Ray Godwin’s office. Lori is married to a retired Army Lt. Colonel; and together, they have 4 children, two adopted and two biological. Despite the demands of being a wife and mother to four kids, Lori attended and excelled at law school, even publishing a legal work while in law school and winning the Moot Court Competition. Lori also has a background in criminal law as a prosecutor but is thrilled to be working her dream job as an attorney for adoptive couples. She looks forward to helping many couples complete their families through adoption. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, reading, eating at new places, working in her garden, tending to her chickens and dogs, and traveling to new places.
