Larry Lee Plumblee

Lee was born in Greenville in 1960 and is a lifelong Greenville resident. He graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 1979, along with Eppes & Plumblee co-founder and lifelong friend Frank Eppes. Lee graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in 1983. In 1987, he graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he excelled in trial advocacy and won the Regional Championship of the American Bar Association National Trial Competition in 1987. He is a recipient of the Lewis F. Powell Award for Excellence in Advocacy. In his thirty-sixth year of practice, Lee has remained passionate about representing his clients in court. He has tried all manner of cases, from magistrate’s court matters to federal cases against and on behalf of multi-national corporations. Whether the case is small or large, Lee’s love of the courtroom and devotion to obtaining justice for his clients is unwavering.

Beginning in 1999, Lee expanded his practice to include serving as a mediator in lawsuits filed in South Carolina. Since 1999, Lee has mediated more than 2,000 cases, assisting parties in resolving disputes involving everything from dog bites to multi-million-dollar business disputes.

In addition to his law practice, Lee is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Travelers Rest, the small town where he grew up, and is proud to be a part of the growth of his community. He enjoys playing golf, watching too much college football, reading, and music.
